As publicly funded web sites, they are required to comply with the DDA and take all possible steps to ensure web accessibility for the disabled. Our lawmakers are deliberately breaking the law in order to cut corners or do their kids favours. I have written about this on my blog and am in formal communication with my own MSP over the issue.
