Politicians’ websites

I have recently written a couple of posts for my personal blog which may be of interest to readers here. Both concern the use of websites by politicians.

The first is a more in-depth post about Charlie Gordon’s website, which has previously been covered here.

The second post concerns the potential pitfalls of a politician expressing their thoughts online. This is following the small fuss concerning the blog of new MSP Anne McLaughlin.

Elsewhere, Ewan Spence has highlighted a major problem with many Parliamentarians’ websites. MPs automatically lose their status as soon as a general election is called, which will cause problems for those MPs who include the title in the name of a webpage or, worse still, their URL.
